My first book, Crack for Trout Bums, was an off-and-on passion project for several years until I finally pulled it across the finish line in December 2025. The cover was designed by my 9th grade daughter, Addi. She's an aspiring author herself and loves deep fantasy.

Speaking of fantasizing, we trout bums can get fishing withdrawals in the winter, dreaming of summer mountain streams in the wilderness. My book, Crack for Trout Bums might just be the good medicine needed to hold you over until the bugs start hatching again. You don't need to be a trout fanatic to enjoy this book--a tour through some of the science, history, and stories of trout.
